Investing 101

Goal: Start investing » Step 1: Learn.

After taking a few intro "courses" on stocks at Morningstar's free investing classroom, the site seems to be a good starting point for someone like me - someone who'd like to start investing, but isn't really quite sure how or where to start. What I really appreciate is that Morningstar seems to help their users take babysteps towards learning the jargon, as well as the procedures and principles behind investing in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and portfolio building in general.

The investing classroom would probably be too simplistic for someone more knowledgeable, but I think it's always worth the free sign-up, just to see what it's all about!
