Received a new HSBC promo in the mail for a 6-month CD with these terms:

• New money
• Minimum deposit: $1,000
• Limit 1 CD.
• Expires 4/10/07

Doesn't seem to be showing up on Bankrate's 6-month CD comparison chart. This rate wouldn't win first place on the list, but it would make top 10! Click for details.
